UNICEF Jordan Country Office invites applications from students enrolled in Master's programme for a full-time internship programme from 11 Jun 2017 to 17 Aug 2017
Objective: The intern will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support a cutting edge data science project for one of UNICEF Jordan’s sector areas, which include water and sanitation, health and nutrition, education, youth engagement, child protection and planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants should be enrolled in a Masters-level graduate programme or a higher degree programme, in one of the disciplines including but not limited to: Data science, Computer science, Urban informatics, Data visualization, Design Thinking, Communications/ Advertising, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, including public policy, applied statistics, economics, political science, anthropology.
Those who have completed their Masters level graduate programmes in 2017 are also eligible to apply.
Selection: Applicants are expected to work in multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships with individuals from different backgrounds. Applicants should have excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Short-listed applicants whose English is not the first language may be subject to a telephone interview.
