Do you need help getting started with your studies? Are you wondering where to find reading lists and schedules? Do you have questions about registration or results? On our pages for student service, you will find information for those who study or plan to study at the School of Global Studies.
In order to get started with your studies you need to activate your student account. If you have been admitted to your studies by applying at universityadmissions.se and you have a Swedish civic registration number, you can activate your student account in the Student portal. Click on the image above to get to the portal.
After activating your account you will get access to a number of resources in the portal (such as student e-mail, language support, certificates, degree application etc.). You will also be able to order your GU-card. Read more about the card and it's functions in the portal.
If you are not able to activate your student account, or if you have problems with your account or GU-card, please contact a Servicecenter.
As a student you communicate with your teachers mainly through GUL (the University of Gothenburg Learning platform). GUL is a web based platform, where you will find information about your course, such as syllabus, reading list and schedule. Click on the image above to get to GUL.
You log on to GUL with your student account. When registered you will get access to your course.
The information you need before the course starts is published on open pages that you can access withour being registered on the course. As a general rule for the University of Gothenburg
You can always turn to the Student Office if you have questions about registration, results or other matters concerning your studies. If you have questions about admission to the Master's Programme in Global Studies, you should turn to firstname.lastname@example.org in the first hand.
